Alexis Winslow was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma, where she still lives. She works out of her in-home studio in the woods by Lake Thunderbird. She earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts at the University of Oklahoma in 2005. In addition to painting, she is currently nursing her fledgling career in the arts by doing a variety of work, including sewing, knitting, and a little design. She is currently building a portfolio of portraits and commercial works in an effort to gain commissions and clients.
